This release includes the following changes:
- Students will always see ATOS ZPD and Lexile scores, regardless of the test they have taken or whether they have taken a test. If myON placement, Lexile, or Star Reading results are available, the scores are based on the test; if not, they are based on the student's grade level. The Star scaled score is no longer shown.
- The Student Progress chart is now the same for all subscriptions and shows ATOS ZPDs and Lexile scores.
- The Student Profile Report also now shows ATOS ZPD and Lexile.
- Star Reading scores are now brought in on the Unified scale, though only ATOS ZPD and Lexile are shown to students.
- In reports:
- A new Reading Range Report includes students' ATOS ZPD and Lexile scores and their source.
- The Core Report has been updated to include the current ATOS ZPD and Lexile.
- Lexile information has been removed from the Timeline Report, Extended User Activity Report, and Point-in-Time Report.
- The myON with Star, Lexiles, and myON Placement Growth Reports have been retired.
- The Lexiles goal is no longer available.
- For subscriptions using the Lexile assessment:
- Students no longer see the purple envelope when it is time to test. Instead, when tests are optional (not required), students see the same banners prompting testing that are used for myON placement tests.
- Lexile assessments now use the same building settings that are used for myON placement assessments (Reading Range Placement) to determine the grades that can take the test, whether it is required or optional, and whether and how often students retest.
- In Building Settings, myON placement settings have been renamed Reading Range Placement settings to reflect their new scope since they now apply to both myON placement and Lexile assessments. Displayed Metrics settings are no longer available since the ATOS and Lexile are always the metrics shown. CEFR metrics and Cambridge English Language Assessment are no longer available for student ability.
- On the Faculty dashboard, the Reading Placement tab has been renamed Reading Range Placement and now shows ATOS ZPDs and Lexiles. The Lexile and Content tabs are no longer shown for any subscriptions.
- For Faculty and administrators, when you select a student, the student page has the following changes:
- The Assessments tab has been renamed Reading Range Placement, and when it is time for the student to take an assessment, the tab now has a green "Assessment Available" message instead of a message at the top of the page. The Retake option now allows the student to take a new assessment without replacing a previous one.
- The Books Read tab now shows ATOS ZPD and Lexile.
- The student's statistics at the top of the page now show ATOS ZPD and Lexile regardless of the subscription.
- The Exempt from Benchmark setting is no longer shown when the school is using the Lexile test.
- In Faculty and Administrator user information, both ATOS ZPD and Lexile are now shown (based off the selected grade for the teacher).
- In the Building Administrator dashboard, Average Lexile is no longer shown.
- FastBridge scores are no longer brought into myON.
