Students, Faculty, and administrators can add books to their personal favorites, and they can put those books in bundles.
Your favorites are books that you want to come back to. Bundles are books that you want to group together; they can be shared with students. Books can be in your favorites without being in bundles, and books can be added directly to bundles without being in your favorites.
Adding Books to Favorites from the Library
Whether you are viewing recommended books, browsing, or searching for books, you can add books from the library to your favorites.
Students
If you see book covers like the ones below, when you click a book, you will see the button below the book cover. Click this button to add the book to your favorites. Once you click the button, a check mark will appear in the heart to show you the book has been added. Click the button again to remove the book from your favorites.
If you chose a List view like the example below, click the button to the right to add the book to your favorites. You can select the button again to remove the book from your favorites.
Faculty and Administrators
To add a book to your favorites, select Favorite below the book, regardless of whether you are using the grid view or list view of books.
Once you click the link, you'll see "Favorited" and a check mark in the heart to show you the book has been added. You'll also see a popup window that will allow you to add the book to a new or existing bundle in your Favorites right away. If you want to add it to a new bundle, enter a name for the bundle in the field, then select Enter. If you want to add the book to an existing bundle, check the bundle name in the window (such as "Cats" in the example below). If you want to remove the book from your favorites, select Favorited.
Adding Books to Favorites from the Book Information Window
Select in the book information window to add the book to your favorites. For students, the button is on the bottom right as shown below; for teachers and administrators, it is the middle button at the bottom of the window.
Once the book is added to your favorites, the button will be gray. You can click the button again to remove the book from your favorites.
Adding a Book You're Reading to Favorites
You can also add a book to your favorites as you read. Look for the favorites button to the right of the zoom and full window buttons. After you select the favorites button, you'll see hearts move upward; then, the button will show a check mark instead of +. You can select the button again to remove the book from your favorites.
Going to Your Favorites and Bundles
To see the books in your favorites, click the Library tab, then Favorites.
When Favorites is selected on the left, you'll see all books in your favorites. You will not see books that have been added to bundles, but not to favorites.
If you want to see books in your book bundles, select the bundle on the left. Faculty and administrators can recommend books in a bundle with students, and they can copy the books in a bundle into an assignment.
