Faculty can choose audio settings for the students in their class by following the steps below.
- At the top of any myON page, select Classroom, then Students.
- Check the box/boxes next to each student who audio settings changed. Then, click the Select an Action drop-down list and choose Audio Setting.
- In the Select Audio Setting drop-down list, choose whether audio should always be on/available for the selected students, always off, or available on weekends only. When audio is on, students can choose to play the audio if they would like, though they can read the book without audio.
- A message will appear, asking you to confirm the change to audio settings; select Yes.
When you create or edit assignments, you can also choose audio settings for books in the assignment. Refer to How to Create Assignments (Faculty and Administrators) or How To Edit Assignments (Faculty, Building Administrators, and District Administrators) for more information on this option.
